How festive is this?! This is such a simple and easy appetizer to whip together and perfect for a Christmas party.
Ingredients
9 Basil, whole fresh leaves
3 Tomatoes, large
2 tbsp Balsamic glaze
1 Sea salt
2 tbsp Simply Sunflower Oil
1 Baguette, large
16 oz Mozzarella cheese log, fresh
One 20×13-inch board with a lip
Instructions
- Start your candy cane at the top and alternate layering a slice of fresh mozzarella with a slice of tomato until you get a big candy cane shape.
- Place fresh basil leaves around the board and a small serving bowl with balsamic glaze.
- Right before serving, drizzle the mozzarella and tomatoes with Simply Sunflower Oil and sprinkle with salt. Serve with additional Simply Sunflower Oil and salt, as well as toasted baguette slices.
